What is the COVID-19 enhanced Illness Benefit?
The COVID-19 enhanced Illness Benefit ended on Friday, 30 September 2022. After 30 September 2022, if you are advised to self-isolate due to COVID-19 and have a medical certificate from your GP, you can apply for Illness Benefit.
If you are ill for another reason or self-isolating because you are medically vulnerable, you should apply for standard Illness Benefit.
