If you are a non-EEA national in Ireland, you can use your recently expired Irish Residence Permit (IRP) card and a Travel Confirmation Notice to travel abroad between 6 December 2023 and 31 January 2024. You can only do this if your application to renew your immigration permission was submitted before the expiry date on your IRP Card.
The Government has agreed changes to the supports for people coming from Ukraine covered by the EU Temporary Protection Directive. These changes will come into effect early in 2024.
