The public health service provides free maternity services for all expectant mothers for the period of the pregnancy and for 6 weeks after the birth. -

If you are sexually active and need information on how to prevent or test for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) there are free confidential, discreet services available from the HSE. -
You can apply for free assisted human reproduction (including IVF) from the HSE at a HSE-approved private fertility clinic of your choice. Free fertility treatment through the HSE is not means tested. -
