Information
The Office of the Official Assignee in Bankruptcy is concerned with the affairs of people who have been adjudicated bankrupt by Order of the Court.
The Official Assignee
- realises the assets of a bankrupt
- discharges the costs, fees and expenses incurred in the bankruptcy together with preferential payments,
- pays a dividend to the ordinary creditors admitted in the bankruptcy.
- carries out functions in relation to the affairs of Arranging Debtors and of the Estates of Persons Dying Insolvent.
