The Higher Education Grants Scheme has been replaced by the new Student Grant Scheme, announced on 28 June 2011. The new scheme is described in detail in our document on Grants for students in further and higher education.
Details of the Student Grant Scheme and the associated Student Support Regulations are on the website studentfinance.ie, together with detailed information on the range of grants and funds for students in further and higher education.
