Social welfare payments and work

Back to Work Allowance
The Back to Work Allowance Scheme provides support to certain unemployed people (and others) when they return to work. The scheme provides a continued partial payment of social welfare entitlements and 'secondary benefits'. From 1 May 2009, the scheme is closed to new applicants.

Back to Work Enterprise Allowance
