Family Income Supplement (FIS) is a weekly tax-free payment to people on low pay who are supporting at least one child.
If you are already getting FIS and your pay from work is reduced, you will not get an increase in your FIS payment. However, if you are not getting FIS and your pay from work is reduced you may now qualify.
To qualify for FIS you must work 19 or more hours per week (or 38 or more hours per fortnight). You can combine your weekly hours worked with your spouse's or partner's to meet this condition.
